“The Question of Dragonflies”
Join author Amy Hale Auker in an informal discussion about how writing in the west means leaving your desk to hunt up the metaphors buried in nature. Or maybe not buried... Maybe flying overhead or hatching right at your feet, maybe flowing in the stream or parching in the sun.  Find out why cowboying lends itself to writing, especially in the creases of long days out of doors.  Bring your own writing materials and be prepared to discuss process over product, the distillation of every day life into prose and poem.

Amy is the author of Rightful Place, an award-winning work of creative non-fiction, and is releasing her first novel this year.  You may have read her essays in Cowboys & Indians or Ranch & Reata magazines.
Visit her to find out more at www.amyhaleauker.com
